NOTICE: Resources for changes to the Water Unavailability Methodology (Methodology) for the Delta Watershed

From the State Water Resources Control Board:

On November 9, 2022, State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) staff held a technical workshop to describe and receive public input on proposed changes to the Water Unavailability Methodology (Methodology) for the Delta Watershed, including a refined watershed-scale analysis and adjustments to the assumed priority dates for water rights associated with the Friant Division of the Central Valley Project. Prior to the workshop, State Water Board staff posted a summary document describing the proposed changes to the Methodology and a draft spreadsheet containing the refinements to the analyses on the Delta Drought webpage and the Water Unavailability Methodology webpage.

The workshop presentation slides and recording, as well as an updated draft spreadsheet containing the refinements to the analyses, are now available on the Delta Drought webpage and the Water Unavailability Methodology webpage.
