NOTICE: October 20 Correction to Delta Watershed Curtailments

From the State Water Resources Control Board:

Please be advised: Reanalysis and correction of water supply information has resulted in suspension of some previously issued curtailments in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta (Delta) Watershed. Water users are advised to check the updated Delta Watershed Curtailment Status List immediately for the updated curtailment status of their water rights or claims.

Below is a summary of the curtailments that are suspended, effective immediately. Water rights or claims not listed below maintain the curtailment status that was previously issued on October 18, 2022:

  1. Water rights and claims on the following Sacramento River tributaries:
    1. Post-1914 appropriative water rights in the Putah Creek subwatershed outside of the Legal Delta with a priority date between 1927 and 1947; and
    2. Post-1914 appropriative water rights in the Yuba River subwatershed with a priority date between 1927 and 1960.
  2. Other post-1914 appropriative water rights in the Sacramento River watershed and the Legal Delta with a priority date of 1927 or later, including water rights associated with the Central Valley Project and State Water Project.
