To the IEP Science, Management, and Stakeholder Community,
Do you have data or research you are looking to share with the Delta community? Or perhaps an opinion letter or essay? Consider submitting to the IEP Newsletter! The Newsletter is a triannual product of the Interagency Ecological Program (IEP) that publishes perspectives on our Program and community, reviews, data reports, research articles, and research notes. The Newsletter is a forum for resource managers, scientists, and the public to learn about recent important programmatic and scientific topics from across the San Francisco Estuary. Articles in the IEP newsletter are intended for rapid communication and are not peer reviewed.
The deadline to submit articles for the 2022 Summer/Fall issue of the IEP Newsletter is October 15.
Please send your contributions for the Summer/Fall issue to Eric Huber (eric_huber@fws.gov).
We encourage all prospective authors to carefully review the Guide to Authors (PDF) and the Quick Guide for Creating Web Accessible Documents (PDF) prior to submitting their contributions as we are working very hard to make our newsletter accessible to all. In particular, please make tables and figures ADA compliant. For figures, this includes using symbols and patterns in addition to color and fonts that are 12 pt when shrunk to the size needed for publication.
Please see the Newsletter itself for additional information regarding publication guidelines, schedule, and editorial contacts. As always, if you have any questions or feedback, please send a note to the IEP Program Support Team.
Read the latest newsletter (Summer/Fall Volume 40, Issue 3, 2021) located on the IEP Newsletter web page (the editorial board received no submissions for the 2022 winter issue). Publication of the Spring 2022 Newsletter is forthcoming so please stay tuned!
Please share this announcement with your colleagues and staff. If they are not already receiving copies of the IEP Newsletter from our listserv, encourage them to subscribe by visiting our subscription page and check the box for the IEP Newsletter and provide their email.
Visit the IEP website for additional news and information on IEP activities and upcoming meetings.
Kind regards,
IEP Program Support Team
