From the State Water Resources Control Board:
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is further rescheduling the release of the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2022 Intended Use Plan (IUP) for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program and the IUP for the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The State Water Board expects to release the IUPs for public comment in late August 2022.
The State Water Board also plans to release at the same time draft Supplemental IUPs for the Supplemental SRF funding appropriated in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The Supplemental SRF funding includes: CWSRF General Supplemental Funding, CWSRF Emerging Contaminant Funding, DWSRF General Supplemental Funding, DWSRF Emerging Contaminant Funding, and DWSRF Lead Service Line Replacement Funding.
Division of Financial Assistance staff will present an overview of the draft IUPs at a Public Workshop before the State Water Board tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 7, 2022. A separate notice will be sent which confirms the date/time of the Workshop and provides information on how to attend and comment on the draft IUPs.
The State Water Board will consider adopting the IUPs as early as the Monday, October 3, 2022, Board Meeting. The IUPs describe the State Water Board’s business plans for the CWSRF and DWSRF Programs.
