New tools and information have been released to help deal with dry wells in California.
- DWR and the State Water Resources Control Board have developed the Dry Well Susceptibility Tool. Details are available in this fact sheet.
- The Dry Well Reporting System is now available, in English and Spanish, for Californians experiencing problems with their private wells.
- In the Central Valley, private well owners and those in small communities who are concerned about losing access to drinking water can use a list of resources that has been compiled by the California Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley.
