The State Water Board Division of Drinking Water (DDW) has posted the draft preliminary findings of the expert panel convened to review the proposed uniform water recycling criteria for DPR. Pursuant to Water Code section 13561.2, the charge of the expert panel is to review the proposed DPR criteria and make a finding as to whether, in its expert opinion, the proposed criteria would adequately protect public health.
The State Water Board has reviewed the panel’s draft memo and provided feedback to the panel. The DDW response to panel comments and recommendations includes proposed draft language. DDW Response and Feedback on the Draft Memo
The State Water Board anticipates the panel’s final memo on preliminary findings will be available soon for posting.
