NOTICE: Proposed agenda for Delta Independent Science Board tour of Delta water facilities

From the Delta Independent Science Board:

The second day of the Delta Independent Science Board’s August 11-12 meeting will be a tour of the State Water Project’s Harvey O. Banks Pumping Plant and John E. Skinner Delta Fish Protective Facility; the University of California, Davis Fish Conservation and Culture Laboratory; and the Central Valley Project’s Tracy Fish Collection Facility. This tour will support the Delta ISB in its mission of evaluating the broad range of scientific programs that support adaptive management of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and act as an opportunity for interested members of the public to gain greater familiarity with water and ecosystem management in the region.

To help with planning and allow the public to register for attendance, we are releasing this proposed tour agenda in advance of the meeting notice. Space will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis via reservation; parking is extremely limited. To reserve your space on the tour, please e-mail disb@deltacouncil.ca.gov or call (916) 902-6571 by Friday, July 8 at 1:00 PM. View the proposed agenda below for details.

A meeting notice will be released 10 days before the meeting.
