The Department of Water Resources has contracted with the California Rural Water Association (CRWA) to provide no-cost leak detection surveys to community water systems that serve 3,000 or less connections. Requests for a leak detection survey can be made directly to CRWA at the e-mail address shown on this flyer:
The Division of Drinking Water and the State Water Board encourages water systems to take advantage of this assistance as California faces what may be a third dry year. Identifying problems is the first step toward potentially seeking available financial assistance programs that can help small water systems be more resilient to drought conditions.
