The California Water Data Consortium is proud to provide a collaborative space to tackle the state’s most pressing water data challenges. Our Vision, Mission, Goals, and Guiding Principles (VMGP) document lays out our path to 2025.
Our Vision: A resilient and equitable water future where open and accessible data inform all water management decisions in California.
Our Mission: The Consortium empowers cross-sector collaboration, partnership with the state and innovation to ensure that state and local agencies, Tribes, nongovernmental organizations, researchers, and the public can readily access and use high-quality data necessary to sustainably manage water for the benefit of all Californians.
