From the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board:
The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board is inviting the public and other stakeholders to submit written comments on the Sacramento Valley Water Quality Coalition Surface Water Monitoring Reduction Request. The submittal requests to modify the timing and frequency of the assessment and core monitoring requirements of Order R5-2014-0030 beginning with the 2023 monitoring year.
Please find the request attached for your review. Comments must be received by 5:00 pm on 7 January 2022 to be considered in the Executive Officer’s assessment. Please submit written comments to Ashley Peters at ashley.peters@waterboards.ca.gov. Written comments may also be mailed to the Central Valley Water Board (Attn: Ashley Peters) at 11020 Sun Center Drive #600, Rancho Cordova CA 95670.
