Mark your calendars for the Interagency Ecological Program 2022 Annual Workshop!
- Dates: March 22-24, 2022
- Location: Lake Natoma Inn, Folsom, California
- Registration will open in early January 2022
2022 Annual Workshop Program The 2022 program will have 16 sessions and the theme of the workshop will focus on the research of early career scientists. Workshop events will include:
- Two invited plenary speakers
- Three R training sessions (Basic Statistics, Regression, and Advanced Analyses) for users at all levels of experience
- Presentations by Delta Science Fellows
- Session on Drought Impacts
- Mentoring luncheon and Project Work Team luncheon
- Poetry slam and lightning talks
- An evening poster reception (two days)
- A panel session discussing careers in science at state and federal agencies.
Eight concurrent workshop sessions will cover topics such as:
- Experimental Release of Delta Smelt
- Longfin Smelt
- Delta Salmon
- Resident Fishes
- Invasive Species
- Data Synthesis
- Lower Trophic & Invertebrates
- Harmful Algal Blooms
Call for Posters The 2022 IEP Workshop Planning Committee is now soliciting abstracts for poster presentations. Posters will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To be eligible for consideration, all poster participants must register for the workshop. The number of posters will be limited to 60, so don’t wait to send your submission. See the “Call for Poster Abstracts” flier for more information. The deadline to submit a poster abstract is 5 p.m. January 7, 2022.
