From the State Water Board:
Please be advised that the Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency has filed water right permit application A033151 with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights to appropriate 4,000 acre-feet of water per year. The water would be diverted from the Pajaro River stream system in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties.
They have also filed a request for release from the priority of state-filed application A018334 (filed on September 24, 1958).
