From the Central Valley Water Board:
The Central Valley Water Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) is considering adopting the Strategic Plan, which is intended to guide the Board’s work for the next 5-7 years. By this notice, the Board is inviting comments on the Draft Strategic Plan. The Board will be considering both oral and written comments at a public meeting scheduled for:
DATE: 14/15 October 2021
TIME: 9:00 a.m.
PLACE: Redding City Hall; 777 Cypress Avenue; Redding, CA 96001, or remote (hybrid) meeting via video and teleconference, depending on changes in pandemic restrictions.
The Central Valley Water Board will allow oral comments to be made via the Zoom platform regardless of whether the Board will be meeting in person or whether the meeting will be exclusively online.
Any written comments or recommendations from the public concerning the draft Strategic Plan must be submitted to this office by 5:00 p.m. on 22 September 2021. Please submit your comments by mail at the address below, or via email in portable document format (pdf) to RB5S-strategicplan@Waterboards.ca.gov.

Persons wishing to make oral comments at the Board meeting are not required to submit written comments. Oral comments will generally be limited to 3 minutes. At least ten days before the meeting, the final meeting agenda will be available on the Central Valley Water Board’s Agenda Calendar web page (https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralvalley/board_info/meetings/).
