NOTICE: Emergency Regulation for Drought Minimum Flows in Scott and Shasta Watersheds at Board’s August 17 Meeting

On August 6, 2021, the State Water Resources Control Board released the agenda for its August 17, 2021 Board Meeting, which includes consideration of a drought emergency regulation for the Scott River and Shasta River watersheds. 

Among other things, if adopted, the emergency regulation would:  (1) establish drought minimum instream flows in the Scott River and Shasta River watersheds; and (2) provide curtailment and information order authority to the State Water Board. 

Please refer to Item 4 of the August 17 agenda for more information, including a copy of the proposed regulation, which has been updated from the version released on July 16, 2021 to address comments.
