The State Water Board has posted a Notice of Staff Workshop on Proposed Emergency Curtailment and Reporting Regulation for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Watershed (Emergency Regulation). The full Notice is available below.
The Staff Workshop is scheduled for July 27, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
At the Workshop, Division of Water Rights staff will provide an overview of the Emergency Regulation and of recent updates to the Water Unavailability Methodology for the Delta Watershed. This Methodology will be used to inform curtailment decisions as described in the draft regulation.
The Notice explains how to participate in the Workshop if you would like to comment on the Emergency Regulation and/or the Methodology. Those who only wish to watch and listen to the Workshop should do so on the CalEPA Public Meeting Live Webcast webpage.
The draft Emergency Regulation text and draft Resolution adopting it will be made available on July 23, 2021 on the Delta Watershed Drought Information webpage.
