[Yesterday], the State Water Resources Control Board released a Notice of a public meeting and opportunity for comment on a draft emergency regulation for the Scott River and Shasta River Watersheds. Details on the public meeting and comment period are provided below and in the Notice.Public Meeting Details. The virtual Public Meeting will be held on July 20, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information, answer questions, and solicit input on the draft emergency regulation. Information on how to attend the meeting and a link to the draft emergency regulation are available in links in the Notice above. This meeting will be recorded and posted on the State Water Board’s Scott and Shasta Drought webpage for future reference.
Comment Period. The deadline for written comments on the draft emergency regulation is 5:00 pm on Friday July 23, 2021. Comments should be emailed to: ScottShastaDrought@waterboards.ca.gov.
