NOTICE OF WORKSHOP/OPPORTUNITY TO COMMENT: Water Unavailability Methodology for the Delta Watershed

State Water Resources Control Board staff are holding a workshop to receive public input on the proposed methodology for determining water unavailability in the Sacramento and San Joaquin River Delta Watershed

The workshop is scheduled for May 21, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  

During the workshop, staff will provide an update on the current and forecasted watershed conditions for this year and present an overview of the proposed Water Unavailability Methodology, which includes an interactive graphing tool that displays relevant supply and demand data.  Please refer to the attached notice for information on how to participate in the workshop which requires filling out an online form. 

The deadline for submitting the online form to participate in the workshop is 12 Noon, May 18, 2021. 

With this notice the State Water Board is also releasing several resources related to the methodology. To access these resources, please visit the State Water Board’s Water Unavailability Methodology webpage.  The State Water Board is accepting written comment on these resources.  Please see the attached notice for instructions on how to submit written comments on the methodology and related resources.  

The deadline for submittal of written comments is May 25, 2021.
