OPPORTUNITY TO COMMENT: Preliminary DRAFT Resolution for Managed Wetlands in the Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program

From the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Board:

The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board staff is inviting interested parties and the public to provide comments on a Preliminary Draft Resolution for Managed Wetlands. The Preliminary Draft Resolution proposes to remove Managed Wetlands from the Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP) based on findings that ILRP requirements are not applicable to Managed Wetlands. Staff is seeking comments to identify whether any stakeholder concerns have not been addressed in this preliminary draft.

Please find the Preliminary Draft Managed Wetlands Resolution attached for your review. The deadline to submit comments is 5:00 pm on Monday June 7, 2021. Please submit written comments to Susan Fregien at susan.fregien@waterboards.ca.gov. If a commenter does not have email access, written comments may be sent to the Central Valley Water Board’s address to the attention of Susan Fregien.
