From the Central Valley Regional Water Board:
The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board is inviting the public and other stakeholders to submit written comments on proposed amendments to the Surface Water Quality Management Plan (SQMP) and Groundwater Quality Management Plan (GQMP) for the Westlands Water Quality Coalition.
A Management Practice Implementation Report (MPIR) is required under Waste Discharge Requirements General Order R5-2014-0001-06 to document management practices implemented by Coalition members to comply with approved SQMPs and GQMPs. The proposed amendments include a MPIR template for each respective Management Plan and an explanation of how the new MPIR will be incorporated into the Coalition’s current Management Plan Strategy.
Please find the proposed SQMP and GQMP addendums below for your review. Comments must be received by 5:00 pm on 11 February 2021 to be considered in the Executive Officer’s assessment of the documents. Please submit written comments to Greg Issinghoff at greg.issinghoff@waterboards.ca.gov. Written comments may also be mailed to the Central Valley Water Board (Attn: Greg Issinghoff) at 1685 E. Street, Fresno CA 93706.
