NOTICE: Consideration for Adoption of Revisions to the Salt and Nitrate Control Program (CV-SALTS)

From the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board:

The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board will be considering adoption of the revisions to the Salt and Nitrate Control Program (CV-SALTS) Basin Plan Amendments to the Water Quality Control Plans for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins and the Tulare Lake Basin. This will take place at the Central Valley Water Board Hearing on 10 December 2020.

As a result of the COVID-19 emergency and the Governor’s Executive Orders N-29-20 and N-33-20, this meeting will occur solely via remote presence by video and teleconference, to protect public health by avoiding public gatherings and requiring social distancing. However, the Central Valley Water Board remains committed to transparency, and while this meeting is conducted remotely members of the public will be able to listen to and watch the meeting, and comment if desired.
