From the Delta Stewardship Council:
For the ninth year, the Delta Stewardship Council will host four California Sea Grant State Fellows for a 12-month paid fellowship beginning in early 2021. The California Sea Grant State Fellows Program provides a unique educational opportunity for graduate students close to completing their degree or who have recently graduated and are interested in marine, coastal, or watershed resources as well as environmental decision-making.
At the Council, fellows will work at the dynamic interface of science and policy – synthesizing, reviewing, coordinating, funding, and communicating science on several high-priority issues in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Past fellows have been able to develop successful careers in a variety of sectors, including government, academia/research, nonprofit, consulting, and private companies.
Applications are due by 5:00 PM PST on July 27.
More information on eligibility and application support and submission is available on the California Sea Grant website.
