From the Delta Stewardship Council:
For its eighth year in a row the Delta Stewardship Council will host four California Sea Grant State Fellows for a 12-month paid fellowship beginning in early 2020. The California Sea Grant State Fellows Program provides a unique educational opportunity for graduate students close to completing their degree or who have recently graduated who are interested in marine, coastal, and/or watershed resources as well as in the decisions affecting those resources in California.
The program matches highly motivated and qualified individuals with hosts in state, federal, or municipal agencies in California. Past fellows have been able to develop successful careers in a variety of sectors, including consulting, private companies, government, academia/research, and nonprofit.
Applications are due by 5:00 PM PST on September 2, 2019.
More information on eligibility and application support and submission is available on the California Sea Grant website.
