The Atherton Cove Property Owners Association has filed an appeal with the Delta Stewardship Council (Council) to appeal San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency’s Certification of Consistency for the Smith Canal Gate Project.
San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency filed its Certification of Consistency for the project on Nov. 2, 2018, finding that the Smith Canal Gate Project is consistent with the Council’s Delta Plan. The Atherton Cove Property Owners Association appeal was filed with the Council on Dec. 3, 2018.
