“Restore the Delta has received confirmation from reputable sources that the Joint Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC) hearing for the State Water Project contract extension has been postponed again, after members of the public, NGO’s, the Mercury News Editorial Board, and the Los Angeles Daily News put pressure on key legislators and the Brown Administration to delay the hearing until contract amendments related to the Delta tunnels were finished and read by Committee members.”
