The Delta Science Program is seeking public comment on the draft updated Delta Science Plan and encourages written comments to be submitted to science@deltacouncil.ca.gov. Comments on this current draft must be received no later than Thursday, September 20, 2018.
This update to the Delta Science Plan was carried out by the Delta Science Program working closely with the broad Delta science and management community and incorporates feedback and input received during outreach efforts conducted in early 2018 and during a public workshop held on April 6, 2018.
The Delta Science Plan was completed in November 2013 to address the need for a framework to guide collaborative approaches to develop and communicate shared scientific knowledge that informs policy, management, and the public, resulting in effective action in the Delta. The Delta Science Plan also fulfills a recommendation in the Delta Plan (GR 1).
