WATER STORAGE INVESTMENT PROGRAM: Water Commission meeting, WSIP determinations, and webinars

From the California Water Commission:

The California Water Commission will hold a meeting at 8:30 a.m. June 27, 28 and, if necessary, June 29, 2018 in Sacramento at which it will make decisions on final application scores and nine determinations for each the projects remaining in the Water Storage Investment Program.

The agenda also includes specific instructions for public comment. Public comments will be limited to 2 minutes per speaker. For those speakers who may have similar comments, they may cede their time to one speaker nominated to speak for the group. Speakers may combine their times, up to a maximum of 10 minutes (for 5 or more speakers).

Water Storage Investment Program (WSIP) Determination Information

Commission staff has released preliminary determination information to assist the Commission in making determinations required by WSIP regulations section 6011(c). The staff recommendations for each proposed project can be found at the “Link to Technical Review” for each project on the Scores and Technical Review table at the following link:  https://cwc.ca.gov/Pages/WSIP.aspx

WSIP Determination Webinars

The Commission has scheduled meetings with WSIP applicants on June 20 and 21 to discuss the preliminary project determination information that was released today. The meetings will be conducted via webinar.
