The Central Valley Water Board has posted the Draft Staff Report for an Amendment to the Water Quality Control Plans for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins and Tulare Lake Basin To Incorporate a Central Valley-wide Salt and Nitrate Control Program. The Draft Staff Report and Proposed Amendment is available for public review and comment on the following website:

Please note that the comment period has been extended. The Board is inviting the public, stakeholders, and representatives of other agencies to submit written comments on the Proposed Amendment and Draft Staff Report from 22 March 2018 through 7 May 2018. Written comments must be received at the above email or postal address by noon on Monday, 7 May 2018, in order for them to be included in the administrative record.
