ANNOUNCEMENT: Statewide Mercury Control Program for Reservoirs Questionnaire Report Now Available

From the State Water Board’s Statewide Mercury Control Program for Reservoirs:

The Statewide Mercury Control Program for Reservoirs publically released the Summary of Responses from the Water Chemistry and Fisheries Management Questionnaire and Workshops.

The report summarizes statewide reservoir:

  • physical characteristics
  • water chemistry management (e.g. oxygenation, chemical controls)
  • fisheries management activities (e.g. fish stocking, culling)
  • owner’s preference for pilot test binning options
  • owner’s financial and technical contributions towards coordinated pilot tests
  • and a summary of discussions from workshops held in Fall 2017
