The State Water Resources Control Board has posted the revised draft emergency regulations to achieve 25% conservation, along with a fact sheet and the proposed urban usage tiers. The regulations, if enacted as written, would achieve 1.3 MAF of conserved water over the next nine months, the amount that is currently in Lake Oroville, the fact sheet notes.
The posting of the draft regulations starts a formal comment period that will end on May 4th at 10:00am. The State Water Resources Control Board will consider adoption of the regulations at its May 5-6 board meeting.
