The proposed Part 3 of the Water Quality Control Plan for Inland Surface Waters, Enclosed Bays, and Estuaries of California—Bacteria Provisions and a Water Quality Standards Variance Policy and the Proposed Amendment to the Water Quality Control Plan for Ocean Waters of California—Bacteria Provisions and a Water Quality Standards Variance Policy (hereafter Bacteria Provisions), and the Draft Staff Report, including the Draft Substitute Environmental Documentation, for the Bacteria Provisions (hereafter Staff Report), have been posted for public comment.
The public comment deadline is noon on August 16, 2017.

A State Water Board Hearing of oral comment is scheduled for August 1, 2017. No formal action will be taken at this hearing.
